The World Academy of Sciences (TWAS) invites nomination of qualified candidates for the following two prizes
TWAS-C.N.R. Rao Prize for Scientific Research
Eligible candidates:
TWAS Fellows from the world's Least Developed Countries (LDCs), who have made significant contributions to global science.

TWAS-Atta-ur-Rahman Prize in Chemistry
Eligible candidates:
Young chemists (under the age of 40), national of a developing country, who have been living and working in
a Scientifically and Technologically (ST)-lagging country for a minimum of two years immediately prior to their application.
All fields of Chemistry are eligible.

The duly completed form (see below), full CV with list of publications, and supporting statement related
to candidates for each of the above prizes must reach TWAS secretariat (prizes@twas.org) no later than the
-extended- deadline of 26 June 2017.
