Nomination for the UNESCO-Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information & Communication Technologies in Education - 2017

UNESCO has invited Pakistan for the nomination of the UNESCO-Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of Information and Communication Technologies in Education 2017. The theme of the prize is "Use of ICTs increase access to quality education".
The said prize is awarded to individuals, institutions, or non-governmental organizations on the basis of projects and activities on best practice as well as creative use of information and communication technologies (ICTs to enhance learning, teaching and overall educational performance.Each winner will receive monetary award (US$ 25,000) and a diploma. Winner of the 2017 will be announced during the ceremony at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris in early 2018.
The nomination may include the following documents:
- A description of the candidate's background and achievements;
- A summary ofhte work or the results of hte work, publications andother supporting documentsof major importance submitted for consideration;
- A description of the candidate's contribution to the Prize's objectives.

Publications, videos or other supporting materials of major importance may be submitted to the online application under intimation of this Commission.
