PCST has initiated a programme to provide fresh graduates opportunities of Apprenticeship in Science and Technology Policy. The apprentices are involved in the on-going or new studies carried out by the PCST. Besides, gaining work experience in a public sector S&T organization, the apprentices learn about one or more of the following aspects of S&T policy.

learn about one or more of the following aspects of S&T policy:
- Techniques
for R&D assessment and evaluation
- Scientometrics studies
and surveys
- Bibliometrics techniques
- Structure and function of national innovation system
- S&T information management system
- S&T policy and planning

Eligibility
Criteria:
Fresh graduates in Science
/ Engineering / Social Science (16 years of education) from
HEC recognized University / Institute.
First class academic career
will be preferred. Candidates with one 2nd class are also
eligible to apply.
Proficiency
in the use of MS office, e-mail, and internet will be an
additional asset.
Maximum
Age:
26 years by last date of application.
Duration
Upto 6 months
Remuneration:
Rs. 5000 per month; Additional
housing allowance Rs. 5000 per month for selectees from
outside Rawalpindi / Islamabad.
Certificate:
Certificate of experience will
be awarded after successful completion of apprenticeship.
